2. Who we are and what LawConnect is
LawConnect is an online marketplace operated by [Company legal name] that helps people find and connect with independent, verified lawyers and law firms in Spain.
LawConnect is not a law firm, does not provide legal advice, and is not a party to any engagement between a client and a lawyer. Our AI assistant only organises, translates and routes enquiries — it does not give legal advice and does not create a lawyer–client relationship.
3. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- You must provide accurate, current information and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials.
4. Lawyers and firms
- You warrant that you are duly registered (colegiado) and authorised to practise law in Spain.
- You are solely responsible for the legal services, advice, fees and client relationship. Verification by us is not an endorsement or a guarantee of any outcome.
- You must keep your profile, pricing and availability accurate and comply with all applicable bar rules.
5. Clients
Any lawyer–client relationship, legal advice and fees are strictly between you and the lawyer. Please carry out your own due diligence before engaging a lawyer.
6. Membership and payments
Lawyers pay a periodic membership to be listed and verified. Fees, billing cycle and applicable taxes (IVA) are presented at sign-up; cancellation terms are set out at [cancellation terms]. We currently take no commission on lawyers’ fees.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the platform unlawfully or to post misleading, infringing or abusive content, scrape data, or misuse other users’ information.
8. Intellectual property
